Patricia Yetneberk was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to the Seattle area in high school. She completed her Associate of Science in nursing at Northern Oklahoma College and finished her Bachelor of Science degree at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1985.
Upon returning to the Seattle area, her nursing career began in area hospitals primarily caring for patients in medical/surgical units. In 1989, she completed a Master of Nursing at the University of Washington and then worked for 5 years as a Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist at a large Internal Medicine and Subspecialty Clinic in downtown Seattle. She completed an Adult Nurse Practitioner post-graduate degree in 1994 at the University of Washington and then a Family Nurse Practitioner, post-graduate degree in 1997 at Seattle Pacific University.
After working as a primary care provider for 13 years in the Snoqualmie Valley, she returned to the University of Washington and completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2009 and a Certificate in Complementary and Alternative Medicine/Heathcare Graduate Certificate Program. In 2005 she closed her private practice and became a primary care provider for the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital District. Not only was the proximity to her home a reason to work at SVH, she said she liked the philosophy of the district. She wanted to be part of a health care system that promoted the health and wellness of the community. Her niche is holistic medicine.
Patricia lives in Snoqualmie with her husband and step-daughter. She has two dogs; Sammie, a pit-bull mix, and ChiChi, a Chihuahua mix. Her hobbies include crocheting, needlepoint and reading. She enjoys traveling, especially to her favorite destination: Hawaii.
“I get excited about coming to work because of the great team of people I work with and I thoroughly enjoy seeing my patients as they become healthier in their mind, body and soul,” she said.
