Jason Rubin, MD has served as the COVID Response Team Lead Physician through the pandemic, and has been integral to providing COVID therapeutics to the Community. It is under his leadership that the COVID Team was able to respond quickly to the waves of COVID variants and demand for testing and vaccines. Dr. Rubin was appointed to the position of Medical Director of Snoqualmie Ridge Urgent Care, leading the patient care model envisioned as the future of health care in Snoqualmie Valley.
Dr. Rubin’s passion for elevating the patient experience through amazing care and a personal touch is evident at the Urgent Care.
Dr. Rubin received an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991 and a doctorate from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1995. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine, followed by two years of residency in Family Practice with special training in Emergency Medicine. Since then, he has worked full-time in the Emergency Departments of several hospitals, also serving as E.D. Medical Director for three years.
“I enjoy working in smaller hospitals where you can spend more time with patients and get to know all your co-workers,” he said. “We have the best people.”
In his free time he enjoys snowboarding at Alpental, and also exploring the beautiful scenery of Washington State with his wife and two sons. He also has three cats and lives in North Bend.
